This course is an exploration of comparative immunology across kingdoms. There will be a strong focus on human as well as mouse immunology. Laboratory sessions require dissections to determine lymphoid anatomy of representative organisms. Samples will be prepared and analyzed using immunological techniques such as flow cytometry. Prerequisite(s): BIOL 3240 or consent of the instructor. Two classroom sessions and one laboratory session per week. Permit code required to register. Not open to non-degree graduate students.
