Enrollment Deposit Fee

Enrollment Deposit Fee

To finalize admission and secure a place in the entering class, the University of Nebraska at Omaha requires newly admitted and readmitted students to pay or defer a $100 enrollment deposit fee. This deposit fee is not applied toward tuition or other university charges.

Priority Deadline

Priority deadlines to submit the enrollment deposit fee are as follows:

Fall and Summer terms
May 1

Spring term
December 1

Applicants admitted after the applicable priority deadline must submit the enrollment deposit fee within two weeks of the admission decision to secure a place in the upcoming term.

Enrollment Deposit Fee Deferral

Students may request to have the $100 enrollment deposit fee deferred to the first billing cycle by submitting a formal request. Requests for deferral and additional information should be directed to unoadmissions@unomaha.edu.

Enrollment Deposit Fee Refund Policy

Students who do not enroll at the University of Nebraska at Omaha and do not request a refund by the applicable priority deadline will forfeit the enrollment deposit fee.

Students who request a refund by the applicable priority deadline will receive a full refund of the enrollment deposit fee. Refund requests must be submitted in writing to unoadmissions@unomaha.edu.

If a student pays the enrollment deposit fee but does not enroll, the fee remains valid for one academic year from the original application term. If the student reapplies within that period, the full fee will be applied to the new application.
