BMKI 9561 ADVANCED SPORT ANALYTICS (3 credits)
This course examines advanced methods and technologies used in the collection, analysis, and interpretation of sport performance and health data. Topics include the application of wearable devices, player tracking systems, and emerging health technologies to evaluate performance metrics, workload demands, and physiological responses. Emphasis is placed on evidence-based approaches to monitoring athlete performance, informing training strategies, and supporting injury prevention and long-term health. Students will engage in critical evaluation of current research and apply analytical techniques to sport-related data sets. (Cross-listed with KINS 8560).
