BSAD 8670 QUANTITATIVE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT (3 credits)
This course is intended to be advanced financial management with an emphasis on quantitative analysis. It will stress the theory and application of topics including, but not limited to risk and return concepts, bond valuation, stock valuation, determining cost of capital, capital budgeting decision criteria, dividend policy, and IPOs, investment banking, financial restructuring. The material covered will increase students' knowledge of how to strategically and quantitively manage financial resources to increase the intrinsic value of the organization. The course will require the usage of modern financial analysis tools, such as AI. It also requires reading related articles on topics above. (Cross-listed with FNBK 8670).
