CSCI 2850 PROGRAMMING ON THE INTERNET (3 credits)
This course is intended as a continuation of the exploration of topics covered in CIST 1300 and CIST 1400. The course will provide students with a broad overview and understanding of the following topics: how web servers work, configuring web servers, using databases for data storage and retrieval, understanding model-view-controller design for web development, and configuring reverse proxy and WSGI servers for application deployment.
Prerequisite(s): (CIST 1300 with grade of C- or better) AND (CIST 1400 with grade of C or better)
