The course will be conducted as a seminar with ample student participation, including a research paper. A 'New Economy' has often been identified with the rise of e-business. We will examine whether the rise of e-business has brought with it a change in the rules of the economy, and we will look at the effects of e-business on business, labor, consumers, and the stock market.
