Search Results

This course surveys musical traditions from countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Characteristic regional genres, ensembles, instruments, and music rituals will be examined. We will also trace the historical, cultural, and socio-political aspects of Latin American music on a global scale and delve into the developments of some international musical genres.
