LLS 1050 INTRODUCTION TO GLOBAL MIGRATIONS (3 credits)
The course introduces students to the forces driving contemporary global migration and to the impact migration has in both sending and receiving nations. This course compares migration flows and processes in different world regions, as well as discussing current debates on immigration policy and immigrant incorporation in the receiving countries.
