SOC 8970  CAPSTONE IN APPLIED SOCIOLOGY & ANTHROPOLOGY (3 credits)

The Capstone is a project-based course which allows each student to demonstrate mastery of the knowledge and skills gained in applied sociology & anthropology. Students complete an applied community-facing project of their choice. Possible project types include but are not limited to: carrying out a research project with a community organization, writing an applied problem or white paper, creative or artistic activity such as an exhibit. Students will curate and complete a portfolio of educational experiences.

Prerequisite(s): Completion of SOC 8000, SOC 8030, SOC 8040, and SOC 8070. Not open to non-degree graduate students.
