ART 1010  ART APPRECIATION (3 credits)

This course is designed as an introductory-level art history for the non-art major. It surveys the aesthetic principles of the visual arts and their interpretation in a socio-historical context. (May not be taken for major credit.) Lab fee required.

Prerequisite(s): Not open to non-degree graduate students.

CFAM 1010  PROFESSIONAL SEMINAR: COMMUNICATION, FINE ARTS AND MEDIA (1 credit)

This course is designed to provide an overview of study in communication, fine arts, and media, developing techniques to guide success in their chosen field. Students will use critical thinking and reasoning to analyze themes, perspectives, and concepts drawn from academic works and career development theory to inform academic, personal, and professional lives.
