CSCI 4830 INTRODUCTION SOFTWARE ENGINEERING (3 credits)
Software engineering is the application of engineering principles to all aspects of the development and maintenance of software products. This course covers basic concepts and major issues of software engineering, software life cycle, agile development principles, software requirement analysis, software models, software architecture and design, software implementation and testing. Related ethical, privacy, security, and legal issues are also discussed. (Cross-listed with CSCI 8836).
Prerequisite(s): CSCI 3320 with C- or better.
