This course is a comprehensive review of the legal framework in human resource management practice. The course is designed to prepare future managers and human resource professionals for the myriad legal issues involved in the employer-employee relationship and what is required for effective compliance. Prerequisite(s): MGMT 3490 with a C+ or better, MGMT 3510 or MGMT 4030 with a C(2.0) or better, and a 2.5 GPA; or permission of instructor.
