Victimology and Victim Services Certificate
Graduates of this certificate will learn skills that would make them ideal candidates as victim or court advocates, staff in non-profit organizations (e.g., Women’s Center for Advancement, The Salvation Army), case managers, child welfare agents, and crisis response team members. Furthermore, and because victims of crime are not siloed in one field or area, students who complete this certificate could adapt their knowledge to any job where they interact with clients or colleagues—even if it does not directly relate to victims’ services.
